Startup digital content services company seeks experienced, digital-savvy strategists, marketers, consultants, and analysts, for new adventures in interactive marketing.
Position: Account Manager / Content Strategist Marketing Strategists, Consumer Research Analysts, Management Consultants, Marketing Services Account Supervisors, Directors, Managers, and Executives
Job Description:
* You may think you want this job, but you probably don’t. There are some very high expectations, and we’re very selective about who we trust with our client relations. That being said, this is the kind of environment where you can open the throttle on your capabilities, truly make a difference with your clients, and be recognized and well rewarded.
* This is a consultative client service position. It is not a sales position. Your role is to ensure the client’s happiness by providing sharp, crisp, and prompt service at all times to all client requests. You will be expected to read minds, anticipate needs, and proactively seek out opportunities to make the client’s life easier, their business more profitable, and generally make them look good inside their organization. You'll be responsible for 100% Guaranteed Client Happiness.
* You must be accessible, and you must provide high-quality face time with the client that results in the client being smarter than they were before you got there. You must be a joy to do business with, and we expect to hear clients tell us how much they like having you around without us having to ask them. If the client isn’t trying to recruit you, or adopt you, or marry you off to their kids, you’re probably doing something wrong.
Skill Sets:
* Your role is to proactively provide the client with ideas and insights to help advance their business objectives and marketing goals, which you must understand inside out. You must become a categorical expert in their industry, and have a full understanding of their competitors’ strengths and weaknesses - and how to exploit both.
* Additionally, you’ll be expected to understand all facets of integrated online and offline marketing, and how they work together. You’ll need to be able to identify the right solution or combination of solutions and make recommendations that positively impact the client’s business, even if they’re solutions we don’t provide. Like all Raidious employees, you’ll be required to create content and actively participate in the company’s online community in an insightful and engaging way.
* Finally, you’ll need to be an analytics rock star. Our business is about providing the client verifiable, trackable, and continually increasing return on their investment. You’ll review, analyze and interpret all client analytics on a weekly basis and recommend ways to optimize with both the content team and the client team, including all marketing partner organizations. So, you’ll also need to be able to understand and empathize with agencies, PR firms, web shops and other marketing partners, and what they are trying to accomplish, and help them do it.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years experience in a senior-level Account Management, Planning or Strategy function at a management consulting firm, ad agency, public relations, digital services, or related service firm
- Experience developing and executing integrated marketing plans with emphasis on the digital space.
- Confidence in your recommendations and the experience and know-how to gently persuade clients to make good, independent decisions for themselves.
- Fierce loyalty to the client and ability to put their needs first
- High degree of emotional intelligence and intellectual curiosity
- High degree of empathy, rigid adherence to personal morals and ethics
- Understanding of online and offline marketing metrics, and their impact on ROI
- Online Analytics expertise (Google Analytics and related ok, Omniture preferred)
- MBA in Marketing or related area is strongly preferred
- Must have glowing recommendations from past clients
- Must be an inspiring, insightful and caring leader who’s fun to work with
