</p><p>They’ve said a picture is worth a thousand words &#8212; and in the case of <a href="http://raidious.com/is-instagram-really-worth-1-billion/">Instagram</a>, those pictures are worth <a href="http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/04/09/facebook-buys-instagram-for-1-billion/">roughly a billion dollars</a> &#8212; but right now, if you’re not creating and sharing rich media content, then you might be losing your users&#8217; attention. With the changes to Google’s algorithm that have come in the past months, as well as Facebook’s continued tuning to its <a href="http://raidious.com/become-an-edgerank-ninja-new-webinar-with-awareness/">EdgeRank</a>, it’s become more and more important to make sure that your content is reaching your audience, and one of the best ways to make sure is with rich media content.</p>
<p>Here are the three best reasons to consider producing rich media content:</p>
<p><strong>EdgeRank and Panda</strong><br />
Google has time and again shifted the way it brings back its search to reward those of us who are regularly putting up timely, compelling content. Facebook’s EdgeRank does much the same by weeding out content that users have a low affinity for. Pushing images and infographics along with your message gives you the best chance to be heard by those you’re trying to get to.</p>
<p><strong>The Share Button</strong><br />
The new Facebook timeline has given much more priority to images and links than ever before. Each design element of the site is used to best display this kind of content front and center. Producing this kind of content is the best way to catch the eye of your audience, but more than that, Facebook has made it easier than ever to allow users to share your content with their friends. People are far more likely to share your compelling image as opposed to your very clever text; it’s human nature.</p>
<p><strong>User Engagement</strong><br />
Your audience is far more likely to comment on things they can interact with visually. A question posed is far less likely to garner responses without an image that viscerally drives an emotion. Rich media content doesn’t just have to be simple images; infographics are great ways to get your message to your audience in a format that they’re more likely to engage with.</p>

<p>As a Content Correspondent, your primary responsibility will be delivering high-quality content for Raidious clients. This content is determined based on research, trending topics and creative collaboration with the entire team at Raidious. <p>Rich media content is a major part of what we do here at Raidious, and this position will be an integral part of that. Thus, we are looking for designers/production artists with the ability to quickly create interesting and appealing designs for use on multiple platforms. Outside of rich media, there will be a need for article writing, so strong writing skills are a must.</p>
<p><strong><strong>Requirements</strong></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>College degree (Marketing, Graphic Design, Informatics, Journalism)</li>
<li>Strong writing skills</li>
<li>Excellent design and/or production art skills</li>
<li>Proficiency with Web publishing tools</li>

<p>Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in the online marketing services industry. Develops and implements agreed upon Sales Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.</p>

<p>Natasha is a proud graduate of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She previously worked as an editor for the educational company Class.com and was a devoted employee of her school paper, the Daily Nebraskan, during her college years. When she’s not crafting content, Natasha enjoys live music, fitness, photography, movies and reading.</p>
<p>Natasha is absolutely passionate about writing, which makes her an amazingly valuable asset to Raidious as she works on creating content for brands that need an energetic voice. (On top of that, she brings to the table editing skills that are put into use fixing the often-gratuitous mistakes in my other blog posts.)</p>

The Director of Social Media is responsible for developing remarkable content for <a href="http://raidious.com/clients/" target="_blank">Raidious clients</a> on social media channels. This includes working collaboratively with our entire engagement team to develop new and innovative social media strategy and methodology.</p>
<p>This position will be responsible for the coordination and execution of Engagment Services for Raidious at the direction of the senior team. Management of project deliverables, time-lines, and quality control will be the Director of Social Media’s primary responsibilities.</p>
<p>All deliverables will be assigned and tracked using our project management tool. It is critical that our employees execute their assigned tasks on time and within the parameters of the established strategy and scope of work. The Director of Social Media needs to not only adhere to this policy, but help enforce it as well.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities of the Director of Social Media:</p>
<ol>
<li>Create engaging social media content for Raidious clients.</li>
<li>Accomplish the client’s objectives within the assigned scope of work.</li>
<li>Social media monitoring for Raidious clients</li>

This is the algorithm Facebook uses to determine which content to show your fans. But that&#8217;s just the tip of the sword.</p>
<p>Raidious works with lots of enterprise-level global and national brands, <a title="Social Media Agency . . .  sort of" href="http://raidious.com/disciplines/">managing social media</a> for hundreds of thousands of fans and hundreds of thousands of interactions every month.
