Planning the Work
Our planning team will create an integrated digital content plan that identifies and schedules subject matter for your blog for the next 12 months. Depending on your company’s needs, this can be a very in depth process that takes several months, or it can take just a few weeks, depending on the complexity of your business and your objectives.
Doing the Work
Raidious team of digital journalists will proactively create content that’s designed to deliver on the objectives we outline together in the planning process. Volumes will vary by business need, but most companies can achieve their goals with three to five posts per week. Blog length can vary from several paragraphs to just a few sentences and a link, depending on the subject matter at hand.
The Client’s Role
The majority of our content is produced 30 days in advance to account for approval and editing time and goes live on a scheduled basis. However, due to the real time nature of the web and our ability to instantly react to events on your behalf, we recommend the client also having full control for directly approving posts that are time sensitive. In addition to approving content, the client is also expected to be responsive to information requests and referring us to the information we need - in other words, to be a good “source” for our reporters.
Blog Setup and Management
Raidious can help you choose and implement the right blog platform for your company. From simpler, straight ahead platforms like Google’s Blogger to flexible and powerful open source options like WordPress, to enterprise SaaS solutions for SEO like Compendium Blogware, to using your existing enterprise or website content management system.
Blog Analytics
Raidious will send weekly reports on our blogging efforts, and will compile a monthly integrated analytics over view report incorporating all activities. We’ll look at the key performance indicator metrics we establish in the planning process, and how to more effectively meet the objectives we’ve established. Digital marketing is an ongoing science experiment - the question we ask isn’t “is this tactic effective?”, the question is “in what ways can this tactic be more effective tomorrow than it is today?”.
Blog Monitoring and Moderation
Raidious can monitor and respond to positive feedback on your blog. In the planning process, we’ll develop a flow chart to help guide us in how to respond to any negative feedback or specific inquiries we may expect to receive on our blog. Some clients are uncomfortable enabling their customers to comment publicly - these comments can be moderated as well, but we generally encourage an open dialog and publicly addressing negative feedback.
Blogging for Human Engagement
Raidious can seek out other non-competitive information sources related to you industry and engage with them. We proactively look to establish relationships with others in your field. We may link to their sites in our posts, they may link to ours. Generally, this is helpful for establishing your presence online with groups that are interested in your company. It also can help drive your rank on search engines
Blogging for SEO
Raidious will identify keywords and keyword phrases that you’d like to rank for in search engines. We’ll use those words and phrases throughout our content to help search engines find your company. There are several other organic SEO tactics we can help you with, but relevant, appropriately keyword-rich content is a key component of truly maximizing your other organic search efforts.
Blogging for List Building
Raidious can also identify key conversion points, the most common one being email signup to build your email list. We will include call to action for your conversion points within our content, and graphically on the blog.
Blogging for Link Building
Raidious can identify other online resources relevant to your industry and work to gain links from those sites to yours. Other than relevant content, Google and other search engines tend to increase your rank if other well-established sites link to you.
